SYSTEMForce Block sensor

A load cell built to be trusted.

The Force Block measures tension up to 500 kg and streams it over Bluetooth Low Energy at roughly 250 samples per second. That rate is what makes rate-of-force-development metrics at 100, 200 and 300 ms possible; slower sensors can only estimate them.

01Measurement discipline

Three habits the app enforces so the number holds up.

Zero

Verified before every effort

Before each test or exercise the app commands a fresh device zero, then confirms the baseline from independent sample windows. A zero from an earlier connection is never reused. Pretension or movement before GO is flagged and the explosive metrics are withheld rather than reported wrong.

Signal

Quality graded per attempt

Effective sampling rate and continuity are assessed on every attempt. Peak rate of force development is reported only at the highest signal tier; approximate metrics are labelled as approximate.

Calibration

Known-mass check per sensor

Each Force Block carries its own calibration factor, verified against a known mass. Force is stored internally in Newtons and displayed in kg, N or lb, so a 173 kg readout means what a scale would say.

02Setups

Anchors to what your facility already has.

Every built-in exercise carries a setup note: where the strap goes, where the handle sits, the joint angle to hold. The app recalls pin, seat and angle from the last session so a test repeats exactly.

Exercise library

26 built in. Unlimited custom.

Lower body, upper body, trunk and neck. Unilateral exercises track left and right separately so symmetry is computed, not guessed. Rehabilitation exercises ship with conservative intensity ceilings the clinician can override.

Optional wall rig

Repeatability you can bolt to concrete.

A wall-mounted upright with numbered pin positions and six test presets. Pin number and seat height are stored with every attempt, so a return-to-sport test in March is set up exactly like the baseline in January. Available on request.

  • Numbered pin positions recorded per attempt
  • Fixed-angle testing for quadriceps, hamstring and mid-thigh pull
  • One station for a full testing day
