FAQQuestions facility owners ask
Before the quote.
Does it need the wall rig?
No. The Force Block anchors to any rack, floor plate or door anchor. The wall rig adds numbered pin positions so setups repeat exactly, which matters most for fixed-angle return-to-sport testing.
Which phone or tablet does it run on?
Any Android device on Android 8.0 or later with Bluetooth Low Energy. A tablet or a cast to a TV works well for group sessions and testing days.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Sessions save on the device and sync to the cloud when a connection returns. The live screen never depends on signal.
Can I add my own exercises and protocols?
Yes. Twenty-six exercises and fourteen protocols are built in; coaches add, edit and archive their own. Every activity keeps a snapshot of the protocol it ran, so editing a template never rewrites history.
How is the max test standardised?
Three maximal attempts with 120 seconds rest, a fixed athlete instruction, an optional warm-up ladder at 50, 75 and 90 %, and the coefficient of variation between attempts shown on the summary. The app suggests a fourth attempt when the athlete is still improving.
Is it suitable for rehabilitation clients?
The rehabilitation exercises carry conservative default ceilings, there is a clearance acknowledgement, a cardiovascular flag with an intensity cap, and injury notes on the live screen. Clinical decisions stay with the clinician; the system documents them.
Can members see their own results?
Coaches can share a PR card and export a PDF progress report per client. A self-service athlete portal is not part of the current release.
How many sensors and coaches per account?
One Force Block connects per phone at a time. Any number of coaches, clients and phones can belong to the same organisation.
What support is included?
Staff training on the system and the protocols, free delivery, and a one-year warranty on the Force Block.
